What better time to clean your room than on National Clean Your Room Day? This is a perfect opportunity to find out what’s under your bed (maybe a couple of library books?) or help a parent/sibling/friend clean their room!
May 4 is known as Star Wars Day, a play on the phrase “May the force be with you”. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to reschedule our Star Wars program for this month, but have rescheduled it to this summer. Watch our website and Facebook page for the latest events and programs.

Green is the color of April. Did you know that April is Lawn and Garden month? Are you planning on planting a garden this year? Last year, we were lucky enough to receive seed donations and were able to give children seeds to plant at home and grow. This year, we have partnered with Neighborhood Forest and offered free seedlings to plant (more details below).
This week (April 3-April 9) is National Library Week. This week is used to celebrate the nation's libraries, the contributions of library workers and promote library use and support. To celebrate we have a couple of interactive activities that you can take part in at the library.
