special events

Special Events:

Wednesday, June 7 @ 10:30 AM: Big Ryan’s Toddler Show. Big Ryan's toddler programs focus on puppet play, music, and movement. Due to the unpredictability and short attention spans of very young children these programs usually run about 25 to 30 minutes. Come in and have some fun with Big Ryan! No registration.

Thursday, June 8- Thursday, June 22:  Search and Find the Sun.  Kids ages 3-12 are invited to search the children's room to find a paper sun with a number written on it.   After you find the sun, you can fill out a raffle ticket with your contact information and the number on the flower.  On May 23, we will be drawing a winner for a bag of children's books.

Wednesday, June 14 @ 6-7 PM:  Dress a Girl Around the World. Are you and your friends or family looking to do some volunteer work? On Wednesday, May 17 at 6:00 pm, the Bridgewater Public Library is hosting a Dress A Girl Around the World dress kit workshop. Dress A Girl provides hand-sewn dresses to young girls in need in the US and around the world. At this workshop, we will be creating dress kits for future sewing workshops. This involves measuring and matching fabric to trims and accessories and then bagging them. (No sewing involved) All materials will be provided. This will be a fun, but meaningful activity for the entire family. Please join us!

Saturday, June 17 @ 10 AM: Fossil Discoveries with Easton Children’s Museum.  Excavate fossils and learn about extinctions and creatures that roamed the Earth.  Ages 5+, register online starting on 6/3.  Please register each child separately.

Tuesday, June 27 @ 1-3 PM: Henna with Mandy. The henna paste is applied artfully to the skin in breathtaking designs.  This program is for ages 6+.  No registration, first come, first served.
