Miss Nicole is continues with her Friday program,  The Learning Tree: A Caregiver and Child Literacy Program.  This early literacy program offers families stories, music, and educational activities that support language, literacy, cognitive, and social emotional development.  This session continues through October and a new session will begin in November, with registration beginning the last week of October. This class has been so popular that a second class has been added, so there is now a 9:30 AM-10:30 AM class and a 11:00 AM -12:00 PM class.  This program is funded by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) grant awarded to Triumph, Inc. by the Dept. of Early Education and Care.  For more information about this program, please call Nancy at 508-822-5388.

Join us on Tuesday, October 12 @ 10 AM for a visit from Big Ryan.  He will be performing his Toddler Show.  Big Ryan's toddler programs focus on puppet play, music, and movement. Due to the unpredictability and short attention spans of very young children these programs usually run about 25 to 30 minutes. Come in and have some fun with Big Ryan! Registration is required for this program and begins on Tuesday, September 28.

feltedhedwig

If you have older children (13-18), we invite you to join us on Saturday, October 23 at 10:30 AM to create a felted Hedwig with Pop Up Art School.  Sculpt Hedwig the owl using wool roving and a felting needle. This class is for ages 13-18 (per Pop Up Art School) and registration is required. Registration begins on Friday, October 1, 2021.

We also have a couple of crafts available in October.  All crafts are available while supplies last and we ask that you only take one per child, as supplies are limited.   These can be picked up in the children's room, starting on the dates listed below.  Please note that some of these crafts contain small pieces and may require adult assistance.

As always, our displays will be changing.  In October, watch for our Fire Prevention week display and our Halloween book display.  We are in the middle of cataloging a stack of new Halloween picture books to add to the collection this week and are always adding new books and AV materials to our collection.  You can also stop in and pick up a paper calendar for an easy visual of the month's children programs.
