reptiles rock june 2022Reptiles Rock!

If you love lizards and snakes have you slithering with excitement, you don't want to miss this program!  Join us on Tuesday, June 28 @ 1 PM for Reptiles Rock.  Reptiles Rock is an hour long program that will be open to all ages, with the primary audience being school age children. There will be a fun and informative presentation by a herpetologist in uniform of 4 larger animals, a large red or yellow foot tortoise (S. America), a large monitor or tegu lizard (Africa or S. America), a 9 to 10 ft. boa or python (S. America or Myanmar/Burma) and of course the American alligator (USA). There will also be a mini zoo set up on a table with 10 to 14 smaller animals (bugs, frogs, snakes, lizards, etc.) to look at. Everyone will have the opportunity to handle some of the animals after the program. There are opportunities for volunteers to come up and assist throughout the presentation. Not only do the children and adults have a great learning experience, they have fun as well.

This popular presentation Reptiles Rock is suggested for ages 3+ but if there are younger siblings in the group, they are welcome to attend.   This program is supported in part by a grant from the Bridgewater Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
