Special Events:

Tuesday, February 6 @ 9:30 AM: Baby & Me Movement Class. Join us for this 30 minute class designed for caregivers and their children (ages 6 weeks to pre-crawling) with certified yoga instructor Jennifer Lynn of Nurtured Roots, LLC.  Please bring a yoga mat for yourself and a blanket/car seat for baby.  Online registration required.

Wednesday, February 7 @ 10:30 AM: Big Ryan’s Toddler Show. Big Ryan's toddler programs focus on puppet play, music, and movement. Due to the unpredictability and short attention spans of very young children these programs usually run about 25 to 30 minutes. Come in and have some fun with Big Ryan! No registration.

Thursday, February 8 thru Thursday, February 22:  Search and Find the Heart.  Kids ages 3-12 are invited to search the children's room to find a paper heart with a number written on it.   After you find the heart, you can fill out a raffle ticket with your contact information and the number on the heart.  On February 26, we will be drawing a winner for a bag of children's books. 

Wednesday, February 13:  Stop by the Children’s room for your Mardi Gras beads.  While supplies last.

Tuesday, February 20 @ 10 AM:  Magician Ed Popielarcyzk.  This magic show is a comedy show that uses a lot of audience participation. Ages 3+. No registration.

Wednesday, February 21 @ 1 PM:  Chasing the Moon's Shadow: Your Guide to the 2024 Solar Eclipse. NASA Solar System Ambassador Pat Monteith will take families on a journey through the upcoming eclipse on April 8. All participants will receive a pair of authorized eclipse safety viewing
glasses.  No registration.


Saturday, February 24 @ 10 AM:  Family Yoga with Marybeth of Maha Yoga. Join us for a free family yoga class, presented by Maha Yoga. Family Yoga is a perfect way to get everyone together all while being an active participant! We recommend kids at 8 years old and/or older or kids that can follow directions along with their parents. Please bring your own yoga mat and dress in comfortable clothes. When registering make sure to include the total number of people attending as spaces are limited for this program.

Art and Craft programs:

Wednesday, February 14 @ 2 PM: Art with Melissa. Join Melissa from Beeble Art and create a fake cake. Ages 6+, online registration required.   This class is full.

 

Friday, February 23 @ 2 PM:  Galaxy Slime.  Join us to create some ooey, glittery slime. For school age children in grades 1-6.  Online registration required, opens on February 9.

Thursday, February 8 @ 6 PM: Virtual Fortnite Tournament. Compete with other players across Massachusetts in this virtual race.  Players must have a copy of the game, gaming platform and an online connection.  Registration is required, you will receive a link via email to join the fun!  See our website for details at www.bridgewaterpubliclibrary.org.
