Our Winter Reading Program has begun!

This Winter, we are inviting you to join the Bridgewater Public Library in "Warm up with a good book"! Log your reading minutes to earn badges & the chance to win prizes.   This program runs now thru Feburary 5, 2023.

The Basics:

For each 2 hours you read, you will receive one snowflake badge. Each snowflake badge will give you a ticket. 

Use tickets to enter contests. Everyone who completes the Winter Reading Challenge (read all five weeks for 120 minutes each week) will be eligible to enter tickets for a chance to win a signed Bruins hockey puck. Parents, you can read to your kids and log for them- ebooks and audiobooks count as well!

For each of the five weeks, kids who earned a badge for that period (Sunday-Saturday) are eligible to win a pack of books. You can also earn tickets for minutes read and enter them in our drawings for a chance to win.

Can anyone join?

Yes!  Teens and adults, we didn’t forget you! You can enter tickets for a chance to win the following prizes:

Gift cards, a Pokemon puzzle, Pete Von Sholly’s History of Monsters, and book bundles for teens and adults.


Prizes will be drawn on February 6. Be sure to add bwpl@sailsinc.org to your contact list so you can be notified if you are a winner. Prize winners will have 10 business days to pick up the prize before another winner is chosen.
