Coming this month, we have a couple of special programs for kids.
Story Times
First, Mrs. Davis will be offering a special holiday story time with a Thanksgiving theme. Join Mrs. Davis for stories, songs and rhymes about Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 18 @ 10:30 AM. Registration is required for this program and opens on November 4. Please call the library to register for this program @ 508-697-3331 and ask for the children's room.
Big Ryan will be back again this month on Tuesday, November 9 at 10:00 AM with his Toddler Show. Big Ryan's toddler programs focus more on Puppet Play and Music and Movement. Due to the unpredictability and short attention spans of very young children these programs usually run about 25 to 30 minutes. Registration for this program is open now and can be done online from our website. Please be sure to count everyone who will be attending when you register.
Crafts:
Our Take and Make crafts have been flying off the shelves this month! Take and Make crafts are normally available on the first Monday of the month. If missed this craft, there will be another craft available later in the month.
Beginning on Tuesday, November 16, this month's Grab and Go craft will be available. This month we feature a Thanksgiving Activity pack. Included in the pack is the supplies to make a turkey headband (you will need to provide either glue or tape), a Thanksgiving word search and a Thanksgiving worksheet. As with all our crafts, we ask that you please limit them to one per child and available while supplies last.
Special Event:
On Saturday, November 13, the Bridgewater Public Library will be hosting the Ectomobile and some Ghostbusters from 11 AM to 3 PM. This program was rescheduled from October due to weather and we hope to see you here. Come and take pictures and make some slime (while supplies last).
