We had over 150 children register for summer reading and over 80 completed Bingo cards returned to us. Everyone did a great job!
It has been busy- we circulated over 4,000 children's books in the month of July alone and have hosted 40+ programs during summer reading.
We also added 22 picture books, 23 fiction books, 29 graphic novels and 59 paperbacks to the collection in July and are continuing to add new books weekly.
We're not done yet! This week we have Yoga for Everyone tonight (Tuesday, August 13) at 6:30 PM- register online and stop in for a FREE yoga class. Tomorrow (Wednesday, August 14) we are welcoming back our First Responders Therapy Dog teams for a special story time at 10 AM. Don't forget Anime Club for teens on Wednesday night at 4 PM and Triumph's 123 Read and Draw with Me on Friday at 10 AM (register with Triumph by phone 508-822-5388 ext. 208.
We've also changed our displays!
Stop in and check out our display of Back to School books, dogs and new Pokemon books (easy readers, board books and chapter books).
Finally.....
We are notifying the winners of summer reading today by email.
The email has been sent out to all children's winners from bwpl@sailsinc.org We will be emailing the teen winners tomorrow.
Winners have until close of business on Wednesday, August 28 to pick up their prizes.
