mike leo drumming

Wednesday, April 19 @ 4 -5:30 PM:  Drumming with Mike Leo.

Join us for a drumming circle with Mike Leo. This hour and a half long program will be split into two 45-minute sessions. The first session is a combination drum and rhythm circle where participants will become familiarized with their instruments, their origins, and some tips on how to play them. The second session will put the concepts learned and confidence gained into action as part of a live interactive concert.

Mike is a guitarist and vocalist and will lead the group through a whole bunch of well-known songs. The group becomes the Rhythm Section and everyone becomes both audience and performer.

Online registration required. Due to high interest and limited space, all members of your party that wish to attend must be registered for this event. Only the individuals registered for the event will be permitted entry.

Neighborhood Forest….plant a tree

For those who are participating in our partnership with Neighborhood Forest, we have received confirmation that the trees have been shipped.  This was a registration program that ended in early March.  Those who registered with Neighborhood Forest will be getting an email from bwpl@sailsinc.org with instructions on when and how to pickup.   You should expect this to happen in the next one to two weeks.

Not around next week?  We’re planning a lot of programs for the summer…including sharks, authors, and more!  Stay tuned!
