Children's programs in July

 

Special Events:

Wednesday, July 10 @ 10:30 AM: Big Ryan’s Toddler Show. Big Ryan's toddler programs focus on puppet play, music, and movement. Due to the unpredictability and short attention spans of very young children these programs usually run about 25 to 30 minutes. Come in and have some fun with Big Ryan! No registration.

Tuesday, July 9 @ 1 PM: Draw with Jannie Ho. Join Jannie, author of Fry Guys, for a fun presentation and draw a 4 panel comic.  Ages 5-15.  Online registration required, opens 6/25. 

Thursday, July 11 @ 10:30 AM: Backyard bugs with Blake Dinius.  Learn facts about the
challenges insects face in great, big world! What insects can you find in your own backyard?
All ages, no registration.

Tuesday, July 16 @ 1 PM: Draw with Ralph Masiello.  Learn about his life, his drawing books, then draw with Ralph! Ages 5-15. Online registration required, opens 7/2.

Wednesday, July 17 @ 6 PM.  Edible bugs with Blake Dinius.  Learn about the future outlook of edible insects and try some samples.  Online registration required, opens 7/3.

Tuesday, July 23 @ 1 PM: Draw with Jenn Morris. Join Jenn, author of Flubby, for a fun presentation. Learn about Jenn's inspiration, how a book is put together, and draw some characters together!  Ages 5-15.  Online registration required, opens 7/9.

Wednesday, July 24 @ 6:30 PM:  Family Yoga with Marybeth of Maha Yoga.  Recommended for kids 8+.  See website for more details. Online registration required, opens 7/10.

Thursday, July 25 @ 1 PM.  Learn all about wildflowers.  Join Miss Meg and learn about wildflowers and make some seed paper.  Registration required, opens 7/11. Ages 5+.

Friday, July 26 @ 10:30 AM: Ocean Animals with Krill Carson.  Learn about ocean animals, make a shark necklace (while supplies last), hunt for fossils.  Online registration required, opens 7/12.

Tuesday, July 30 @ 1 PM: Draw with Steve Swinburne.  Join Steve, author and illustration for a fun program.  Listen to his talk then draw with Steve! Ages 5-15.  Online registration required, opens 7/16.

Wednesday, July 31 @ 6:30 PM:  Family Yoga with Marybeth of Maha Yoga.  Recommended for kids 8+.  See website for more details. Online registration required, opens 7/17.

Fridays in July @ 3 – 4 PM: Rainbow Loom with Bella. Led by a local high school student, bring your rainbow loom supplies and hang out with friends. No registration, ages 7-14.
