Special Events:
Wednesday, April 5 @ 10:30 AM: Big Ryan’s Toddler Show. Big Ryan's toddler programs focus on puppet play, music, and movement. Due to the unpredictability and short attention spans of very young children these programs usually run about 25 to 30 minutes. Come in and have some fun with Big Ryan! No registration.
Saturday, April 8 @ 9-11 AM: Lego Free Build. Come in and build with our Legos. Leave your creation to be displayed in the children’s room next week. This program is drop in and parents will need to remain with their children and supervise.
Wednesday, April 19 @ 4 -5:30 PM: Drumming with Mike Leo. Join Mike Leo for a drum circle and rhythm session. This hour and a half long program will be split into two 45-minute sessions. The first session is a combination drum and rhythm circle where participants will become familiarized with their instruments, their origins, and some tips on how to play them. The second session will put the concepts learned and confidence gained into action as part of a live interactive concert. Online registration is required for this program. Please register each participant in your group separately. All ages welcome.
Wednesday, April 19 @ 6-7 PM: Dress a Girl Around the World. Are you and your family/friends looking for some meaningful volunteer work? Dress A Girl Around the World is an organization that provides new hand-made dresses to little girls in need around the world. At this "non-sewing" workshop we will be measuring and bagging dresses for delivery. A brief overview of the organization will be presented at the beginning of the workshop. No registration.
Thursday, April 20 @ 1 PM: A visit with Snow White. Join us for a visit with Snow White. She will be telling her story, singing songs, and kids will have the opportunity to take a photo with her. Online registration required. Due to high interest and limited space, all members of your party that wish to attend must be registered for this event. Only the individuals registered for the event will be permitted entry.
Friday, April 21 @ 9 AM: Scavenger Hunt. Join us for a Beanie Baby scavenger hunt. Search the first and second floor of the library for a Beanie Baby and take home your find. Limit one per child, while supplies last. For kids up to age 12. No registration required!
Saturday, April 29 @ 9:30 AM to 12 PM: Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Volunteer puppy raisers from Guiding Eyes for the Blind (a 501(c)3 non-profit) will present on what it's like to raise and train a future guide dog. The public will be able to interact with the puppies and participate in some training activities. More information on how you can become a volunteer puppy raiser will also be provided. No registration required, feel free to drop in at any point throughout the morning.

Art and Craft programs:
Mondays in April @ 4-5 PM: Sketching with Shane. Join Shane as he sketches using an iPad and mediums. Teens and tweens (ages 12-18) are welcome to draw along with him in this informal session. No registration.
Thursday, April 6: Grab and Go Craft – Flowers. Available while supplies last. One per child please.

Story Times:
Tuesday, April 4 @ 10 AM: Story Time with Apryl. Join us for stories, movement and music with Apryl. Recommended for ages 1.5-4 years old. No registration. Theme: Spring theme.

Triumph, INC.:
Fridays in April @ 10:30 AM: 123 Read & Draw with Me! Join Triumph for 123 Read and Draw with Me! Ms. Laurie, a local artist and teacher will present easy, fun & creative ways to: Create art with a variety of drawing & crafting techniques, read and enjoy a wonderful book together, and develop brain building, social emotion and fine motor skills. Thursday, April 13 @ 6 PM: Virtual Fortnite Tournament. Compete with other players across Massachusetts in this virtual race. Successful Study Skills 4 Students presents Everything You Didn’t Know – But Should- About the SATs/ACTs and College Admissions. Learn more about the college admissions process, the importance – or not – of the SATs and ACTs, and how they could impact your child’s college application. Parents will learn: What’s the difference between the ACT and SAT exams? Which test is best for my son/daughter? What score do I need on my AP exams for colleges to notice me? How heavily do colleges evaluate test scores? Does “test-optional” really mean I can choose who sees my score? How will a “test-optional” university consider my student’s application?
