About the Bridgewater Historical Room

The Bridgewater Historical Room contains informational resources for both residents and non-residents of Bridgewater who are interested in the town, its people and its heritage. The collection consists of books, maps, prints, photographs, illustrations, and other materials relating to Bridgewater and nearby cities and towns.

The primary purpose of the collection is to provide as much statistical and historical information on Bridgewater as is feasible. We are working to provide more digital access to our collections and indexing of our materials.

The public is allowed access to this room during regular library hours. Materials in the Bridgewater Historical Room do not circulate, and some items require an appointment to view. Need more information or interested in setting up an appointment? Contact our Reference staff.
